On Sunday 26th May one of the city’s best-loved running events, the Great Manchester Run, is back!
Each year this event brings thousands of runners and spectators as they pass by some of Manchester’s most iconic landmarks. With live music, entertainment and some of the best, and loudest, support from around the UK this event brings a unique energy to the city every year.
Whether the runners have chosen to do a 10k run or the half marathon, families and friends gather with their banners and bells to cheer on their loved ones on their way to the finish line.
