Winter Gardens Market in Piccadilly Gardens
Picadilly Gardens will take the limelight this Christmas as Manchester’s hub for all things festive and sparkly.
The Winter Gardens make a fantastic family-friendly Christmas market and a great stop for those looking to soak up the atmosphere with some locally brewed beers, cocktails and live music.
We highly recommend guests visiting Hotel Indigo Manchester – Victoria Sation take a wander down to Picadilly’s Winter Gardens to take advantage of the international cuisine stalls such as Dutch Frites and Greek Gyros, not to mention warm cookie dough.
St Anne's Square, Exchange Square & New Cathedral Street
St Ann’s Square in The Northern Quarter is the ideal stop for mouth-watering street food including pizzas, Lakeland Burgers and Yard and Coop’s fried chicken and salt and pepper fries.
Exchange Square offers yet another Christmassy display with some local sellers, as well as Pork Pig’s Yorkshire Pudding wraps, the Mill Exchange bar, Tikka Kebab kitchen and gourmet pizza.
New Cathedral Street is the place to go for high-end products and services such as shoemakers, local vegan skincare products, jewellery and other crafted pieces, not to mention a cocktail and gin bar. What German Market would be complete without steins and currywurst?

King Street returns hosting all things Francais, including gallic food, wines beers, and gins. Sample some Italian cuisine with a deli selection too.

Cathedral Gardens is a family-friendly spot with an ice rink, food and drinks stalls, and entertainment from Thursdays through to Sundays, including shows for the children! You can also spot Manchester’s iconic Giant Santa in all its glory!
